Program editor software extends CAD support
Active Editor Pro dramatically increases the number of users who can benefit from its simple programming style, by adding support for CAD models from a large variety of CAD formats.
Papers to be given at the conference cover a wide range of subjects ranging from surface and nanometrology, sensors and intelligent instruments to uncertainty and the calibration of systems.
There will be two plenary sessions and four keynote papers by international experts in the theory and practice of precision measurement.
In addition to the oral sessions there will be a poster presentation in which authors can communicate their latest research results.
Renishaw will also exhibit at the event, highlighting a range of new developments in position feedback encoders and machine calibration.
These include a new range of high-performance linear and ultra-high-vacuum encoders, a new angle encoder for rotary axes, plus an ultrastable Invar scale, and evolutionary improvements in speed, resolution and reliability to its standard optical lines of industrialised RG2 and RG4 linear encoders.
Delegates will also see new software for motion system analysis using Renishaw's ML10 laser interferometer measurement system.
