Web site helps visitors plan for the Medical Design and Manufacturing West show and conference being held in Anaheim, California, USA, from 31st January to 2nd February 2006.

Renishaw has created a web site to help visitors plan for the Medical Design and Manufacturing West show and conference being held at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California, USA, from 31st January to 2nd February 2006.

The site also gives details of Renishaw's metrology products being displayed at the show, which help increase manufacturing precision, processing efficiencies and competitive positioning, while complying with the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations.

The site will be updated with product announcements in the lead-up to the show, including a tool recognition system for high-speed broken tool detection on CNC machine tools and a compact high accuracy touch probe for small machining centres.

For machine builders, there is a high accuracy linear scale and software for motion system analysis.

Renishaw will be on stand 2866.

The show promotes itself as offering the resources required to design, develop and manufacture medical devices and equipment.

There will be five special-focus pavilions - Precision Tec, Medpak, CADCAM, Enterprise Technology and the new Micro Nano Tec pavilion.

Exhibits include advances in medical-grade materials, components, electronics, computer-aided design and manufacturing, production machinery, packaging, sterilisation, quality systems, device communications, networking and enterprise IT.
