comparison
Renishaw has recently received a positive mention in a speech given by Ian Pearson, UK Minister of State for Science and Innovation.
Renishaw received a positive mention in a speech given on 14th February by Ian Pearson, UK Minister of State for Science and Innovation At a meeting of the Technology Strategy Board, Pearson spoke about the importance of manufacturing to the UK economy, which provides around 3 million jobs, comprises over half of all exports, and despite popular perceptions, is in fact the world's sixth largest manufacturing economy

Significant new developments to Renishaw's open, non-contact, encoder system include a 360° degree high resolution rotary encoder.
He then highlighted how manufacturing is changing, and that by looking at how particular companies have evolved over the years, that it is possible to build up a picture of how the industry as a whole has evolved.

Reacting to the speech, Ben Taylor, Renishaw's Assistant Chief Executive said: "Innovation is at the heart of everything that we do as a business, from the products that we produce, the processes used in their development and manufacture, to the way that we service our customers".
