Canadian aircraft manufacturer, de Havilland, has named British firm, Renold Chain, as the sole supplier of chain products for the critical control elements in the Dash generation of aircraft worldwide.

The popular short-take-off-and-landing aircraft relies on Renold's ANSI 35 3/8" pitch chain to fly the plane in autopilot through links with an onboard computer.

In addition to performance and safety-critical chain Renold also supplies the chain used to control ailerons, flaps and rudders across the entire range of Dash aircraft, including the latest Q-series turboprop family.
