A new range of self-lubricating stainless-steel chain is ideal for applications where a clean environment and resistance to corrosion is important.

Renold has launched a new range of self-lubricating, stainless-steel chain for applications where a clean environment and resistance to corrosion is important.

The new chain, Renold SynCor, is an amalgamation of Renold's lube-free, Syno, and stainless steel, Coris, chains, and is designed for use at temperatures up to 150C and for applications where the chain will be exposed to water.

At the heart of Renold SynCor is a specially designed, oil-impregnated bush that allows the chain to be operated without the need for further lubrication.

This makes it ideal for applications where maintenance would be difficult or where a clean environment is essential, such as in the food processing, paper and textile industries etc.

Renold SynCor is available in simplex and duplex configurations with sizes ranging from 0.5 to 1in pitch and with a choice of attachments.
