Corrosion-proof chain costs less than stainless

A Renold Chain product story

A new brochure describes the high-tech Hydro-Service anticorrosion treatment for roller, conveyor and leaf chains.

Renold Chain has published a new brochure on its high-tech Hydro-Service anticorrosion treatment for roller, conveyor and leaf chains.

Hydro-Service is more economical than stainless steel chain and the treatment is more effective than conventional zinc and nickel-plating techniques that are prone to chipping, flaking or peeling.

It is recommended for use in applications that are exposed to regular wash-downs, such as in the food industry, and for all other wet and humid applications or where chain is operating outdoors.

The brochure describes the treatment in detail and then lists all the chain and attachments that is available with this coating.

Many theme park rides such as Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park use chain that has been treated with Renold's Hydro-Service.
