Chain driving the largest white knuckle ride at a Florida theme park shows virtually no signs of wear after five years operation.

Engineers at a theme park in Florida have been amazed to discover that the chain driving their largest white knuckle ride shows virtually no signs of wear after five years operation The chain, manufactured by Renold, was recently inspected at the request of the park's maintenance team as a double-check of their own results

Amazingly the inspection showed that their initial findings were correct - there was virtually no wear to any of the chain's components.

According to Renold the exceptional wear resistance is testament not only to the quality of its chain but also to the excellent maintenance regime implemented by the on-site engineering team.

The ride in question is the largest at the park, rising above 40m and turning riders over seven times at speeds up to 105km/h.
