Red Lion Controls has introduced two new 1/16 DIN PID controllers which offer high functionality at low cost: the T16 temperature controller and the P16 process controller.

Red Lion Controls has introduced two new 1/16 DIN PID controllers which offer high functionality at low cost: the T16 temperature controller and the P16 process controller.

The new controllers feature a programmable user input, programmable F1 key, backlit LCD display and can be programmed on or off-line.

T16 accepts TCs J, K, R, S, B, N, E, T, C and RTDs 385/392 100ohm platinum 672 120ohm nickel and P16 accepts process signals of 4-20mA, 0-10VDC.

Both controllers can be configured with a number of outputs and up to two alarm conditions.

The programmable function button allows users to select auto/manual mode, toggle between SP1 and SP2 and reset either or both alarms.

The T16/P16 controllers have a polycarbonate face with rubber buttons and an easy-to-read backlit LCD display.

The units are sealed to NEMA 4X/IP65.

The units can be programmed via the four front panel buttons, or off-line using the TP16KIT.

The programming kit is a configuration tool which helps the user to quickly power and program the controller.

A big advantage over other configuration software is that TP16KIT has no additional per-unit-cost for the communications options.

The kit includes RLCPro Software, a download cable and module and a 115 VAC outlet adapter.

The software makes it easy to create, save and download configuration settings to the controller and calibration can also be performed with the software.
