Red Lion has replaced its standard Modular Controller Master with a more powerful version, the CSMSTRV2.

Red Lion has replaced its standard Modular Controller Master with a more powerful version, the CSMSTRV2.

The new model comes with extended functionalities such as a USB port for faster downloads, and now supports the upload of configuration files.

This new version also has enhanced communications capability.

The programming port can now be used to connect yet another external device, and the Ethernet port supports up to four protocols simultaneously.

Now, a PLC, a motor drive, PC and Scada systems can all monitor and control a process at the same time.

The unit is programmed using Crimson 2.0 software platform instead of Crimson 1.0 for the previous generation.

This change offers a wider range of driver selection and communication capability.

Owners of the previous generation of masters can easily upgrade and import their old database into Crimson 2.0.
