Praise is lavished on the new Manotherm website - www.manotherm.ie - which was launched towards the end of 2004.

The inside front is an interesting item on the monitoring of water supplied to vessels in the Port of Dover in England and which will be of interest to all intstallation where there is the possibility of Legionella infection.

This system is based on Eurotherm 5000B data recorders.

Reports on the ISA Ireland's conference in November, the US based ISA Expo, as well as Emerson's huge Global Users Exchange (both events in Texas in October), are also included.

In the people section is a report on the annual Instrumentation Honours and Awards ceremony in Cork, at which a special award was presented to Maurice Radford in recognition of his unselfish service to the industry not only in Ireland but throughout the world.
