Plant design and management software company Rebis has announced the launch of Rebis GmbH, a subsidiary developed through the partnership of Rebis, and Kiel Engineering Group
Plant design and management software company Rebis has announced the launch of Rebis GmbH, a subsidiary developed through the partnership of Rebis, and Kiel Engineering Group to provide a solution based model for the sale of Rebis applications and services inside Germany.
Kiel GmbH represents the parent company to Kiel Engineering Group.
With over 1,600 employees, Kiel showed favorable turnover of 266 million DM in 1999.
There are four other divisions of Kiel serving the chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, power plants, food and automobile industries.
Kiel also provides support services in plant maintenance, plant shutdown, pipe fabrication, project management, engineering and software development.
Kiel Engineering will provide support to Rebis GmbH for Rebis AutoPLANT, CAE and PlantLIFE applications along with bundling its current services into a solution based models.

Rebis, the largest supplier of PC plant design solutions in the world, measured by its installed base of over 65,000 products is committed to providing quality workgroup software for plant design and management.
Rebis markets products for both conceptual and detailed plant design, as well as systems to manage the full operational lifecycle of these facilities.
Rebis offers a complete suite of integrated applications for piping, structural, process and instrumentation design and management, pipe stress and fluid flow analysis, and plant information management for AutoCAD and MicroStation.
