Robot structural analysis added to plant software

Rebis has announced that it is in the process of integrating the popular Robot structural analysis solution from Integrated Structural Software (ISS) with its Autoplant Structural software so that users can quickly and easily analyze structures that they design in Autoplant.
With 6,000 users, Robot is one of the world's most popular structural analysis programs designed for civil and mechanical engineering applications.
"By the fourth quarter, we expect to be able to offer our customers a one-source solution that provides access to what we believe are the best structural modeling and structural analysis solutions on the market today," said Dr.Jeffrey Hollings, President and CEO, Rebis.

We are looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership." Rebis's Autoplant Structural Modeler is an easy to use, low cost 3D steel modeling application that allows you to quickly generate accurate 3D steel models in an AutoCAD-based environment.
Pre-defined structural objects such as handrails and stairs maximize productivity.
Steel models can be interference-checked against piping, equipment, or other components of the completed building using Rebis Explorer/ID.
Using the extensive toolset, engineers and designers can model virtually any steel arrangement for any discipline.
Typical uses include: structural-steel construction/steel structural engineering; hall construction/plant and facility construction; rack construction/facade construction and materials-handling technology/heavy mechanical engineering.
Integrated Structural Software provides a top-quality solution to assist engineers in the modeling, analysis and design process of multi-material structures from 2D frames to 3D shell models.
The power and the flexibility of its graphical user interface helps engineers to save tremendous time in the modeling, the data-input and the post-processing of results.
