Slit design one piece couplings now down
to 8mm
Reliance Gear Company have added two micro couplings to their highly successful range of Reli-a-Flex one piece couplings, with accuracy advantages retained in sizes as low as 8mm and 10mm
Reliance Gear Company of Huddersfield have added two micro couplings to their highly successful range of Reli-a-Flex one piece couplings The micro couplings have been added to the range in the knowledge that design engineers across many industries are grappling with ever increasing miniaturization

Coupling performs better as well as being small
A tiny high speed coupling just 6mm in diameter is claimed to be five times more radially compliant and twice as torsionally stiff as other one-piece micro couplings currently available
In areas such as lab automation and the printing industries, inaccuracies in drive components can lead to errors which are clearly visible to the naked eye.
The slit design on the Reli-a-Flex ensures that even in sizes as low as 8mm and 10mm the advantages in accuracy over other one piece couplings remain.
In fact, many other one piece coupling manufactures do not offer couplings down to these sizes.
All Reli-a-Flex couplings have a unique, patented slit pattern which maximizes torsional stiffness without inducing high bearing loads, thus dramatically reducing transmission errors.
Reli-a-Flex micro couplings are tested to 50,000,000 cycles and are manufactured from high strength (7075-T6) aluminium alloy.
They are supplied chambered for ease of assembly.
