Wider range of shaft couplings announced
Reliance Gear Co of Huddersfield has now enhanced its range of standard products by the introduction of a further range of precision mechanical couplings with bore sizes ranging from 3mm up to 12mm
The Reli-a-Flex coupling range of one piece slit couplings has been specifically designed to provide extremely accurate transfer of motion between two rotating shafts while, at the same time, catering for parallel and angular misalignment.
This accurate transfer of motion is accomplished by using a unique patented double slit pattern that gives very high torsional stiffness and excellent reliability.
In addition, and unlike some spiral beam couplings, Reli-a-Flex couplings introduce negligible radial and axial bearing loads.
The original Reli-a-Flex range includes outside diameters from 13mm to 40mm and micro sizes with outside diameters 8mm and 10mm.
The new insulated range is available as standard in outside diameters 20mm and 25mm.
