Leadscrew and slide combine in compact
package
Range of screw driven linear slides offers high linear speed, accurate positioning and long life in a compact assembly.
New from Reliance is a range of screw driven linear slides offering high linear speed, accurate positioning, and long life in a compact assembly Standard leads of 2.54, 5.08, 12.70 and 25.4mm are available, making speeds of more than 1.5m/s possible

Wider gear range than ever from Reliance Gear
The standard gear range from Reliance Gear now has pitches ranging from 0.2 to 1.5 mod metric and includes stainless hardened gears, designed to be used in higher torque, longer life applications
Wider range of shaft couplings announced
Reliance Gear Co of Huddersfield has now enhanced its range of standard products by the introduction of a further range of precision mechanical couplings with bore sizes ranging from 3mm up to 12mm
This rivals belts and cables while offering superior positioning accuracy, repeatability and axial stiffness.
The Reliance RGLS slides consist of a precision aluminium guide and carriage driven by a precision rolled stainless steel leadscrew.
Integration of the leadscrew and slide into one neat, space saving package provides an economical solution with fewer parts which also facilitates assembly.
The moving surfaces include high performance proprietary polymers running on a unique TFE coating.
With a unique, compact profile the slides provide exceptional torsional stiffness and stability for their size and weight and the integral mounting base allows support over the entire length if desired.
Lengths up to 2.4m can readily be built and longer lengths are possible on a special order basis.
The Reliance RGLS slides come with a wear compensating, anti-backlash driven carriage as standard.
Additional driven or passive carriages can be added, along with application specific customisation.
Linear guides, without the drive screw, are also available.
All configurations offer plug and play convenience with the performance and value you expect from Reliance products.
Typical applications include medical, data-storage, semiconductor, optical, and photonic equipment.
