Eliminate voltage problems with frequency drives
A new range of output chokes will reduce or eliminate the voltage problems commonly found when using frequency drives to control AC induction motors
Modular drive makes panel bulders jobs easier
A revolutionary modular system for frequency drives launched by REO UK incorporates EMC filters, braking resistors, sinusoidal filters, motor chokes and dV/dt filters into a standardised unit
The footprint braking resistor is designed for smaller power drives.
It is suitable for use with, and offers direct assembly to, any frequency drive.
The entire resistor is contained within a zinc-plated enclosure and, as a result of its compact design, can be mounted underneath a drive to take up no additional panel space.
The series also includes braking resistors for panel mounting which are constructed for use in multi-drive applications.
These zinc-plated resistors can be mounted outside a cabinet and therefore dispense with the need for additional cooling fans.
The high-power braking resistors for larger, modular, drive motors use a parallel connection for an extended power range.
Encased in a solid aluminium enclosure, an active cooling facility, with a high power fan, maintains a low enclosure temperature thus facilitating increased power.
The register braking resistors have a very high load rating, a very high short-time rating and an exceptional degree of corrosion resistance.
Bus bars and low inductance windings can be supplied as options.
The compact braking resistors offer equally good short-time and high-load ratings, as well as the same optional extras.
These resistors also feature the same forced cooling facility as the high-power braking resistors. Request a free brochure from REO (UK) ...
