Guide simplifies power quality problems
REO UK has released a new comprehensive guide to power quality for those with little or no experience of effective power supply control.
It will help users, installers, specifiers and sales personnel to grasp important points and overcome potential or existing problems, without having to read weighty technical publications, understand formulas or have a working knowledge of electrical engineering.
In a logical progression, following the power supply to the VSD and then back on to the grid, the guide describes the uses of EMC filters, harmonic filters, output filters and braking resistors in improving power quality.
The guide will also help users to stay ahead of the tightening regulations which govern power supplies, including the recent G5/4 recommendations which stipulate revised maximum levels of permissible harmonics. Request a free brochure from REO (UK) ...
