REO UK now offers components and test equipment to the railway industry.
The new service simulates operating conditions, such as the overhead supply, which enables offline testing to eliminate the expense and inconvenience of putting rolling stock out onto the actual railway line.
Backed by the expertise of its German partner, REO Pruftechnik, which has supplied solutions to the railway sector for over ten years, REO UK is able to provide customer-specified power supplies and load banks for testing both the drive system and the auxiliary supplies which power lighting, kitchen facilities and controls.
Test equipment is available for AC single- and three-phase power supplies, DC power supplies, resistive and inductive, single and three phase, load units and high voltage sources.
The standard product range available includes EMC filters, high frequency chokes, sinus filters, braking resistors and both high frequency and torroidal transformers.
