High-frequency transformers make life smaller
REO has introduced a range of high frequency transformers that operate between 20 and 50kHz which are compact, light and hence more economical to produce than previous transformers
His speech should prove extremely timely and relevant due to the recent power failures in the USA, UK, Scandinavia, Italy and France, which have caused major disruption to public life.
He will inform attendees about the external problems of natural phenomena and line faults on the power grid and will talk about the internal problems of increasing use of high-frequency power electronics.
He will also refer to EN standards and limits, repercussions on the grid and for the user and will outline a choice of solutions.
Also speaking at the conference are Dr John Holder of CERTT and Geoff Brown of ABB Industrial Systems.
Holder will discuss "Helping companies with environmental issues", and Brown will focus on "Application of the ATEX Directives to power drive systems". Request free introductory details about products from REO (UK) ...
