Leading vibration reduction specialist Reactec has been appointed exclusive UK distributor for the RT440 handheld vibration measurement tool.

Leading vibration reduction specialist Reactec has been appointed exclusive UK distributor for the RT440 handheld vibration measurement tool The RT440, manufactured by Edinburgh-based Diagnostic Instruments, offers a cost-effective, easy to use and flexible solution to vibration analysis in any manufacturing, engineering, electronics or technical environment

The instrument adopts a modular approach to measurement with individual packages available for specific types of analysis.

This allows the user to choose exactly the analysis features they require and upgrade as necessary in future.

This flexibility makes the RT440 ideal as a field service tool, for machinery diagnostics or production line quality testing.

Based around a high specification handheld computer running the Windows CE operating system, the RT440 links seamlessly to the PC environment for data transfer and analysis.

Priced at GBP 7000 (plus VAT) the RT440 is at least half the cost of comparable solutions in the diagnostic market.

"We believe the RT440 represents the most flexible, easy-to-use and cost-effective vibration analysis tool currently on the market", said Tim Kent, Commercial Director, Reactec.

"It has been designed from scratch combining our expertise in the vibration field and diagnostic instruments skills in producing high quality precision instruments".

"It is simple enough to be used by nontechnical personnel yet it can provide a wealth of detailed data for the vibration expert".
