Seamless rollers extend chain life
Rexnord roller chains have seamless rollers, which further increase the working life of the chain and provide smoother, quieter running.
The protective rollers employed on roller chains are intended to extend the working life of the chains by reducing fatigue caused by running impacts and provide wear resistance This protection has been enhanced for Rexnord roller chains through the use of seamless rollers, which further increase the working life of the chain and provide smoother, quieter running

Chain is treated for long-life performance
Available as both roller and leaf chains, RexPro is fabricated from selected steels with all components heat treated in-house using the latest advanced technology.
This protection against dynamic loading, such as might be experienced with pallet handling duties, is achieved by eliminating the point of weakness present with seamed rollers.
Rexnord's seamless rollers are able to withstand approximately 25% higher vertical loads than conventional curled rollers.
Rexnord produce chain with two different types of seam-free rollers.
One is cold formed the other is produced from precision tubes.
The cold formed seamless rollers are specially heat treated and then undergo intensive shot peening.
They are then calibrated to ensure accurate parallelism and uniform wall thickness.
These rollers are used on Rexnord chain sizes 08 B to 24 B and 08 A to 24 A.
Precision tubes are manufactured to Rexnord's specifications.
Each has strict geometrical tolerances and uniform wall thickness.
These are employed for chain types 28 B to 72 B and 28 A and 48 A.
