Radio Frequency Investigation has announced the first in a series of partnerships to develop and enhance its Bluetooth services.

Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) has announced the first in a series of partnerships to develop and enhance its Bluetooth services.

RFI is rolling-out its Bluetooth activities which are set to include testing, development and training facilitated through a number of partnerships, the first being with Malaga-based Centro de Tecnologia de las Comunicaciones (CETECOM).

RFI will be established as a Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF) using test platforms from both CETECOM and other partners for Bluetooth testing, with on-going technical assistance from CETECOM.

Part of RFI's remit is to validate CETECOM's BITE Protocol/Profile test platform and deliver Bluetooth training at all levels.

RFI will also act as a distributor for CETECOM's test systems in the UK.

Steve Flooks, RFI's Bluetooth development manager commented "With the help of CETECOM's expertise we will be best placed to meet the demands for Bluetooth services quickly.

There is a natural synergy between our organisations which will provide mutual benefit.

The UK in particular presents great opportunities for both CETECOM and RFI.".
