A DIN rail based remote control system enables users to achieve simple configuration of custom wireless systems by simply plugging together the desired modules.

RF Solutions has introduced a DIN rail based remote control system that enables users to achieve simple configuration of custom wireless systems by simply plugging together the desired modules Reception and decoding is carried out by RF Solution's 210 module and a there is a choice of two high security protocol, 433MHz transmitter encoders

The DIN rail mounted receiver and decoder is able to 'learn' up to 50 transmitter encoders.

It has 16 available outputs arranged as 4 x 4 connectors, into which a choice of relay and dimming modules can be plugged.

Outputs can be configured to be momentary, latching, dimming, or timed for between 5 and 15s.

Transmitter switches can be easily set to any output channel, and each has LED indication.

The first of the two available radio transmitter encoders is the 204 series.

This has a range of approximately 50m and is housed in an enclosure measuring just 96 x 47 x 23mm.

It is available in either 4 or 8/16 switch options.

The 8/16 version has a shift key that enables selection of either 1 to 8 or 9 to 16.

Visual indication of selection is given by the transmit LED illuminating either red or green.

The unit is supplied with a wall mounting holster and power is supplied by a single 3V lithium cell.

For applications requiring longer range, a second transmitter encoder, the 206 series, is able to work at a distance of up to 500m from the receiver decoder.

It also offers 4, and 8/16 switch options, and has a PP3 battery to provide power.

The DIN rail remote control system does not require a radio licence and is able to operate at temperatures between 0 and +55C.
