Amongst a full range of its electronic component products, Rhopoint will be showcasing its Flexheat silicone heaters at Electronica, Munich, 21st - 24th November, in Hall B5 on stand 328 It is not uncommon for electrical, electronic and even some mechanical devices to be taken into environments that are much colder than their specified operating conditions

The FlexHeat silicone heaters, manufactured by PAC, keep applications at their optimum temperature.

The heaters are thin, electric radiant heating elements encased in dielectric, high temperature silicone rubber, which can heat and cool very quickly as a result of their high thermal mass.

They are designed using PCB technology, can withstand temperatures of up to 200C, and are photochemically precision etched.

These environmentally friendly heaters can be designed within exact watt densities and power requirements and to a customised size and heating level.

They are suitable for almost any application including food warming, telecoms, office automation, industrial, robotics, automotive, aerospace, military and medical industries.

Also on show will be RDF sensors that provide accurate temperature solutions for Aerospace and Industrial applications.

These products include high stability RTDs, industrial rugged RTD's and thermocouples, fast response thermocouples and heatflux sensors.

Opto Technology, the leading optical sensing, solutions and products specialist, has recently appointed Rhopoint as its European Agent and information will be available at the stand concerning this range of products which includes ultra bright blue and green LED's, and switches, sensors and optical arrays for high performance medical, defence and security applications.

Other products on show include the RARA high power wirewound resistor range and RTI's Surge Gard series of inrush current limiters.

The RARA range comprises individual resistors with power ratings to 1.2KW.

They offer resistor assemblies to 10kw and low profile power resistors as well as custom shunts.

The Surge Gard series is used in applications where inrush current causes problems when power is applied to a system.

Devices are available for steady state currents from 0.3A to 30A. Request free introductory details about products from Rhopoint Components ...
