Rietschle (UK) is offering a year's free Gold Breakdown service to five lucky winners every day, for the duration of the International Printing Exhibition (IPEX).

Visitors to the Rietschle stand (6-359) will have the opportunity to try their skills in a Boys Toys competition.

There's an edible 'gold' coin for all winners, and five of these will be drawn out of the hat every day to receive Gold Breakdown cards, each worth GBP 250.

Rietschle's Gold Breakdown Service guarantees a site visit by a factory-trained service engineer, at any hour of the day, anywhere in the UK, and within three hours of a reported pump breakdown (depending on location).

It covers all makes of vacuum pumps and compressors, and is available at an annual cost of GBP 250, or as a free upgrade to customers opting for Rietschle's Pumpcare Plus pump maintenance service Lower running costs are also a theme of the Rietschle stand.

Modular air centre systems meet the vacuum and air requirements of printers and print finishers, and the new Air-Center II offers highly efficient, portable oil-free air and vacuum, exactly matching supply to demand.

It incorporates Rietschle's multistage Tornado and the variable speed-controlled Blizzard.

The energy-saving Zephyr multiclaw produces pressure and vacuum in a single stage.

It is dry running and contact-free, for vacuum up to 400mbar (abs), and pressure up to 0.8bar - all attainable during continuous operation.

Compared with rotary lobe designs, its operating efficiency is over 60%.

Rotary vane technology includes small (3.5m3/h), dry-running, Picolino compressors, and the Druvac, 140m3/h capacity pressure/vacuum pump.

Quiet-running side channel designs include Bora compressors and Covac multistage vacuum pumps.
