Vacuum pump and compressor manufacturer Rietschle Thomas is engaging two new graduate engineers to support its rapidly expanding OEM customer base in the UK.

With a BEng (Hons) in mechanical engineering from Portsmouth University, Joakim Hansen (28) is the new field-based OEM Sales Engineer for the South Coast area.

He lives with his partner in Alton, Hants, and he joins Rietschle Thomas from Jun-Air UK Ltd, where he was responsible for OEM sales in the UK and Ireland.

Prior to that he was the Southern account manager for KNF Neuberger, looking after OEM and laboratory sales.

With mountain biking as his main hobby, Joakim is ready to scale the heights of customer support.

Daniel Peck (23) graduated from Kingston Upon Thames University with a 2:1 BEng (Hons) in automotive systems engineering.

No surprise, then, to find that vehicle restoration, and British Touring Car events are his hobbies of choice.

Daniel is the new Technical Support Engineer, operating out of the company's Alton office.

He lives in Fareham, Hants, and before joining Rietschle Thomas he worked in technical/customer support for the AA Service Centres in New Malden, Surrey.
