Offering a range of functional and application advantages over competing products, these highly reliable and competitively priced vacuum pumps are being made available from stock by ASF Thomas across Europe, with a correspondingly high level of local service and support.
Dedicated distribution channels, and service/technical support operations are being established throughout Europe for the pumps, with further distributors being sought.
The products have been developed in recognition of the special needs of laboratory users, building in a range of innovative, application focused features.
ASF Thomas director of international sales for the Welch range says: "Whilst the Welch brand enjoys a 20-30% market share of the US laboratory market, these vacuum pumps have never been widely available throughout Europe.
Now ASF Thomas is bringing these products to mainland Europe, providing local product stock and local sales support.
And we are looking to quickly expand our numbers of distributors across the Europe for the Welch products." The Welch brand is best known for vacuum pumps for the laboratory market, but also includes a comprehensive OEM range of deep vacuum pumps for backing turbo molecular pumps in analytical instrument applications.
Competitively priced, all the products in the range are highly application focused, providing a range of unique benefits and special features adding both functionality and value to end products.
