With the strategic acquisition by Thomas Industries of Oberdorfer Pumps, the company's ranges of pumps for both marine and industrial applications under the ASF Thomas banner.
With the strategic acquisition by Thomas Industries of Oberdorfer Pumps - one of the leading manufacturers of centrifugal and rotary gear pumps, and rubber impeller pumps - ASF Thomas has strengthened its liquid pumps offering for Europe.
The acquisition of Oberdorfer Pumps brings its ranges of pumps for both marine and industrial applications under the ASF Thomas banner.
Oberdorfer Pumps also specialises in both the design and manufacture of custom OEM pumps for the transfer, recirculation and processing of chemicals, lubrication oils, water and other fluids.
The Oberdorfer range sits nicely alongside the expanding ASF Thomas ranges of miniature liquid pumps for the OEM market.
These include rotary vane, diaphragm, and oscillating piston liquid pump lines developed to meet the needs of a variety of applications.
Bringing access to the Oberdorfer range, the acquisition coincides with the launch of two new ranges of liquid pumps by ASF Thomas - the SM4 and SK4 ranges.
The SM4 is a small diaphragm pump with a linear drive that can run dry up to 1000 hours.
Providing an ideal solution in liquid transfer and dosing applications, the SM4 offers a ready alternative for peristaltic pumps with the advantage of vastly reduced wear, giving longer life operation.
The SK4 provides a new series of oscillating piston pumps, with an extremely compact design that will make it suitable for a whole range of applications where space is at a premium.

Many liquid markets are already served by us, and the acquisition of Oberdorfer pumps will allow us to capitalise on an extended range of pumps for these markets.

All standard products are available with fast deliveries, and non-standard products can be quickly engineered to suit individual applications, and supplied in volume.
The UK service centre offers a rapid turnaround on spares and repairs, and in addition ASF Thomas offers users ultimate peace of mind through its compressor and vacuum pump Refurbishment Programme.
