Peristaltic pumps expand application range

A Richard Alan Group product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 6, 2008

The Boyser peristaltic range contains four pump types: standard, industrial dosing, heavy duty and high-pressure, for pumping all types of fluids.

The Pumps and Gearboxes division of the Richard Alan Group in Dewsbury is expanding its pumps business into water and waste treatment, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and general industrial market sectors, following its appointment as the exclusive UK distributor for Boyser Peristaltic pumps.

Andy Batey, Manager of the Pumps and Gearbox Division, said: "Boyser pumps are highly reliable and competitively priced, which means that we are ideally placed to attack both the original equipment and in-house user markets within the UK".

"The peristaltics are entirely complementary to our existing range of pumps and ancillary equipment, which allows us to offer a consolidated product offering, with security benefits to the user of single source supply".

The Boyser peristaltic range contains four pump types: standard, industrial dosing, heavy duty and high-pressure, for pumping all types of fluids, including chemicals, food additives, glues, inks, acids, resins, waste water, enzymes and syrups at flow rates from 10 to 44,000 litre/h.

The Boyser range offers an industrial dosing series of peristaltic pumps.

These units are ideal for use in water and sewage treatment operations; in chemicals sampling, dosing and metering; in food beverage applications delivering additives; and also in laboratory, pulp and paper, agriculture and printing and packaging operations.

All Boyser pumps offer the flexibility of fixed and variable speed operation and suit standard (8bar) or high-pressure (15bar) operation, with choice of rubber or thermoplastic hose materials.

This enables the pumps to be tailored for specific applications.
