Pumps and Gearboxes has launched a range of Yilmaz 'H' Series helical and helical bevel gearboxes for heavy duty applications up to 80,000NM.
Manufactured under ISO 9001 conditions, the high-strength, monoblock single or multi-stage gearboxes deliver the highest power density, reliability and extended life in quarrying, mining, mixing, crushing, winding and materials handling applications.
The gearboxes are designed to a European footprint, and are directly interchangeable with most of the leading makes on the market.
They offer ease of assembly from either side, and up to four stages in a single housing.
The units are supported by a number of cooling options, including heat exchangers, cooling coils, fan cooling and forced lubrication systems.
All bearings within the gearboxes - high load taper or spherical roller types - are supported by the housing itself and not by cover plates, and all axes are machined at the same mounting plate, which gives high precision with tight tolerances.
The monoblock design delivers improved bearing and gear life and the facility for multi-stage units and overhung loads.
Other applications for the Yilmaz 'H' Series gearboxes are ATEX specification, extended and hollow shafts, cooling and lubrication systems, synthetic lubricants, shrink disks, brakes, variable speed drives and IEC frame bespoke motors.
Pumps and Gearboxes' CNC machining capabilities enable it to supply custom-built shafts and mountings.
