Pumps and Gearboxes, a Richard Alan Group Company, has released the Yilmaz H series of helical and helical bevel gearboxes for heavy-duty applications up to 80,000Nm.
Manufactured under ISO 9001 conditions, the high-strength, monoblock single or multi-stage gearboxes deliver high power density, reliability and extended life in demanding quarrying, mining, mixing, crushing, winding and materials handling applications.
The H series gearboxes are designed to a European footprint and are interchangeable with most of the leading makes on the market.
They offer ease of assembly from either side and up to four stages in a single housing, providing OEMs with a compact, reliable and extremely competitive gearbox package that delivers a high power rating from a small product envelope.
The H series units are supported by cooling options including heat exchangers, cooling coils, fan cooling and forced lubrication systems.
Yilmaz H series gearboxes are designed as monoblock units based upon a one piece housing, which offers advantages in rigidity, gear strength, operating noise levels and oil integrity.
All bearings within the gearboxes, whether they are high load taper or spherical roller types, are supported by the housing itself and not by cover plates.
All axes are machined at the same mounting plate, giving high precision on all axes with tight tolerances.
The monoblock design delivers improved bearing and gear life and the facility for multi-stage units and overhung loads.
Options for the Yilmaz H Series gearboxes include: ATEX specification, extended and hollow shafts, cooling and lubrication systems, synthetic lubricants, shrink disks, brakes, variable speed drives and IEC frame bespoke motors.
