Radio receiver cuts vibration
interference

Radiometrix HVR2 uses the company's hybrid Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) local oscillator design to make it almost totally immune to mechanical vibrations at frequencies below 500Hz.

Radiometrix has developed the HVR2 for applications where RF engineers need to consider the interference effects of nearby vibrating machinery This radio receiver module is a vibration-resistant version of the Radiometrix RLC2

It uses the company's hybrid Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) local oscillator design to make it almost totally immune to mechanical vibrations at frequencies below 500Hz.

When used in conjunction with the matching TLC2H-433-5 transmitter module it can provide users with a reliable 5Kbit/s wireless data link suitable for even the most troublesome of industrial environments.

Operating in the 433.05-434.775MHz band, the module can receive signals via 32 operating channels set through the serial interface (25kHz narrow band spacing).

With a receiver sensitivity of -118dBm (for 12dB SINAD), the module can easily maintain an operating range of above 500m.

It runs off a supply voltage between 3.7 and 15V and draws a current of only 30mA.

The receiver has an operating temperature range that spans from -20 to +70C, allowing it to deal with the toughest of external conditions.

It conforms to both EN 300 220-3 and EN 301 489-3 standards.

Applications most likely to make use of this product include machine tool control, remote crane operation, industrial telemetry/telecommand and heavy vehicle control. Request a free brochure from Radiometrix ...
