Modular approach simplifies power distribution

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 30, 2002

The Maxi-PLS power distribution system provides standard components that can be used to create control systems rated up to 3200A, without the need for bending, cutting and excessive labour times.

Rittal's Maxi-PLS power distribution system offers electrical engineers and system integrators the ability to design and build, using standard off-the-shelf equipment, control systems that require up to 3200A, without the need for bending, cutting and excessive labour times.

With a unique profiled busbar mounted in the roof, base or rear of Rittal's modular TS8 enclosure system, and a preformed interconnecting bar from the profile busbar to fixed or rack mounted ACBs, designers can tailor the solution to their needs with flexibility and reduced manufacturing time.

For large motor drive systems requiring the supply of large currents throughout a number of bayed enclosure solutions, Rittal's thermal management system will maintain the internal temperature of the enclosures at the correct temperature recommended by the inverter manufacturer.
