The master-slave system is simple and, using a supplied 3m shielded cable, eliminates the need for intricate wiring linking all the cooling units together to form a teamwork unit.
The new system prevents cooling units operating in isolation and uneven usage of two or more cooling units, therefore avoiding excessive service and maintenance charges.
Incorporating features such as fault diagnostics, door switch control, and PLC connection, the new TopTherm design ranges between 300W and 4kW and comes as either a roof- or wall-mounted version.
Rittal's TopTherm comfort controller cooling units have the capability to use this system and connection is effortless, using a dedicated socket in the back or bottom of the units.
The master-slave layout facilitates common activation and deactivation via door switches, parallel activation and deactivation via user defined temperature set points, and common collective fault signals and temperature logging.
An operating manual, for the programming of the cooling units, is supplied with the system.
The TopTherm cooling unit range along with accessories such as quick-change frames, door switches, ducting, and diagnostic software, is stocked extensively, and available off the shelf. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
