Premium protection from stainless-steel
housings

Premium Panel stainless-steel operating housings are designed to offer maximum protection against extreme ambient conditions.

Rittal's latest development in stainless-steel operating housings for machinery and plant manufacture is the Premium Panel, designed to offer maximum protection against extreme ambient conditions Using a new sealing process the housing and rear wall of the operator and control unit are folded to a U shape with opposite connecting surfaces additionally flanged on the inside

This creates an all-round gap to take up the seal.

When screwing on the rear wall the metal surfaces of housing and rear wall are pressed onto each other precisely and the seal compressed in such a way that optimum encapsulation is guaranteed Premium Panel fulfils the high demands of the protection category IP69 and reliably prevents the penetration of moisture even from the aggressive blast of high-pressure cleaners.

Metal contact areas of the housing and rear wall are seamlessly connected when screwing-on, providing efficient protection for internal electronics against harmful EMC influences.

The housing and rear wall can be connected as required from the inside with plastic bungs or from the outside with hex screws. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
