Easy installation for flexible laminated busbars

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 7, 2003

A new range of flexible laminated copper busbars for applications between 120 and 1600A is especially suited for low-voltage systems.

To complement the extensive range of solid copper busbar solutions offered by Rittal, a range of flexible laminated copper bars is now available for applications between 120 and 1600A, that is especially suited for low-voltage systems.

This flexible range gives designers and systems integrators the ability to shape and bend the copper bars into different configurations by hand.

As no copper bending machines are required, the panel builder can save time and money on the manufacture of control systems.

By using the flexible copper bars and the Rittal universal support, a range of three different mounting options can be used to suit the many different types of electrical installations that may be required.

With a temperature range from -30 to +105C and an expansion rate of 370%, Rittal's flexible laminated copper bar is able to meet many requirements.
