Chiller division serves a cool solution

Rittal has expanded its range of process chillers offering exceptionally robust and reliable cooling of critical equipment used in production industry.

Rittal has expanded its range of process chillers offering exceptionally robust and reliable cooling of critical equipment used in production industry The range includes both small "Mini" units with useful cooling outputs of 1 to 4.5kW, larger TS 8 up to 50kW and the SK Series with outputs ranging between 5 and 350kW

Rittal has also strengthened its chiller business to provide OEM customers who export with a global customer service.

Designed to be compact, versatile, and suitable for smaller cooling requirements such as lasers or precise process control, the smaller Mini Chiller series gives customers useful control options.

Recool units with outputs of up to 50kW are available for all machine types and are bayed within the TS 8 enclosure system for a compact, floor saving, subtle design.

The SK series is supplied as a standard package but can be configured to meet any customer process-cooling requirement up to 350kW.

Tailoring any chiller for a particular machine is now done effortlessly using Rittal's new project planning team, this new development gives Rittal the capability to offer customers free consultation and site surveys.

A leading frozen food manufacturer based in the North East, contacted Rittal for a solution to production stoppages caused by an oily atmosphere and overheating.

Since the completion of the project, the enclosures have been free from oil, excessive temperatures, and there have been no incidents of downtime.
