Heat exchanges suit UL requirements
The UL TopTherm range of air/air heat exchangers is described by Rittal as the next generation of thermal management equipment.
The unit sizes and cutout dimensions match the TopTherm cooling unit generation which gives the air/air heat exchangers the added adaptability of being interchangeable with TopTherm cooling units, saving on cutout modification worries.
An innovative feature of the new heat exchangers is its unique aluminium interchangeable heat exchanger module.
Although the range comprises only three sizes, one size is easily upgraded by using a larger module, ie modules of 30, 45 and 60W/K which can all fit into one size of unit.
As the units consist of two separate air circuits, the heat exchangers are all internally circuit protected to IP54.
Installation is simple and the units can be externally or internally mounted on either the enclosure wall or roof.
Thermal winding protection on the fan motors is also provided as an added safety feature.
The units are available ready for connection along with wiring and cutout drawings. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
