Rittal has released what it claims is the first TFT monitor built to withstand the force and temperature of high-pressure washdowns to IP69K.

This makes it ideal for the harsh environments of industries such as the food and beverage production environment.

The IP69K rated Premium Panel monitor, in 304 grade stainless steel, can be attached top or bottom to a support arm system such as the Rittal stainless steel CP-S system.

Mounted to shatterproof safety glass and sealed with silicone glue, the 17in TFT monitor provides 1280 x 1024 pixel, good angle viewing and a brightness of 250cd/m2.

Taking up very little space, the TFT monitor becomes very adaptable to the HMI demands of the process industry when installed in an IP rated enclosure with an arm system.
