Busbar system eases assembly

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 21, 2006

A new busbar system combines timesaving assembly and individual modularity.

Rittal's new busbar system, the RiLine60, combines timesaving assembly and individual modularity.

With systems available up to 1600A, and a choice of flat bar or profile bar the permutations are endless.

Control gear can be assembled and wired-up on the RiLine60 support frame, which can be mounted directly onto the busbar in one simple operation.

Modular control gear widths are supported from 45mm, and the component adapters are bayed together with ease.

Three different mounting options are available: assembly without a support frame; assembly with separate support frame, which ensures minimal downtime when replacing equipment by separating the support frame from the component adapter and finally, the pin block to supplement the din rail section, for reliable support of the contactor for all standard manufacturers of starter and reverser combinations.

Whether flat bar or the PLS profile busbar, personal protection is always assured with systems offering IP2X (protection against finger access).
