Rittal RiLAN industrial enclosures offer flexible plant structures, greater efficiency and enhanced security.

Rittal RiLAN Industrial enclosures provide a reliable basis for the exchange of information and data by offering an integrated Ethernet distributor concept specifically designed to accommodate the growing level of decentralisation.

RiLAN industrial enclosures offer flexible plant structures, greater efficiency, enhanced security via information exchange simplification as well as enhanced process co-ordination and security monitoring.

The enclosures can be individually configured to suit specific requirements.

Available in two sizes, the larger RiLAN empty enclosure (600 x 760 x 210mm) offers space for Ethernet connection of up to 24 subscribers with a patch panel.

Compatible with all major manufacturers for industrial Ethernet components, accessories include brackets, cable shunting rings, DIN rails and various gland plate entry options.

The smaller RiLAN enclosure (600 x 300 x 125mm) provides ample space for Ethernet connection of up to 24 users without a patch panel or 12 users with a patch panel.

The enclosure comes with pre-assembled patch panel brackets, cable shunting rings and DIN rails.

Both variants have a polycarbonate viewing area.

To enable reliable connection of users, Rittals offer two different types of junction box.

Rittal offers a polycarbonate junction box for use in areas with demanding requirements such as industrial plants, laboratories and workshops.

The polycarbonate junction box is impact-resistant and halogen-free and has two RJ 45 jacks and two cable entry glands, all IP67-rated.

The cast aluminium junction box offers the same connectivity but rated to IP65 for less demanding applications.

All Rittal RiLAN junction boxes are compatible with standard industrial Ethernet components and cabling products.
