Slim HMI units offer multiple options

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 21, 2007

The usable mounting area and the interior installation options have been extended despite a slimmer design.

Rittal has released the TopConsole range of HMI units, designed to offer optimum design conditions for the system builder, with a range of possible combinations of arm system modules, command panels or industrial workstations.

Although the new console incorporates a new slim-line design and is visibly thinner than standard consoles, the usable mounting area and the interior installation modularity has been extended.

The desk console lid also provides more usable surface areas for switches and keyboards.

Screens, displays and operating controls are now mounted in an ergonomically favourable position.

Easy to assemble, the fitted mounting plate slides in and locks easily into position in a 25mm pitch pattern.

Extensive cable entries are provided by individual gland plates.

TopConsole can be easily upgraded using TS 8 system accessories.
