Enclosure heaters optimise efficiency

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 15, 2008

Heaters prevent the temperature inside an outdoor enclosure from dropping below operational level and facilitate in the reduction of condensation.

Rittal has increased the efficiency and thermal output of its enclosure heaters by incorporating the latest technology and optimising the design.

Available with outputs from 10 to 800W, the heaters prevent the temperature inside the enclosure from dropping below operational level and facilitate in the reduction of condensation.

A novel heat flow design cover uses the chimney effect to ensure a more efficient and even distribution of heat output.

The heaters can be easily installed by either using snap-fastening onto 35mm support rails or simply screw fastening directly onto the mounting plate.

The fast wiring using clamp-type terminal connections eliminates the need for superfluous screw terminals.
