Rittal releases Power Engineering software

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 27, 2008

Rittal has developed a software tool to facilitate designers specifying and designing Motor Control Centres, allowing drawings and parts lists to be achieved within minutes.

Rittal Power Engineering software can produce drawings of any Form 4 type panel, which not only incorporates the front view general arrangement but also the internal view including details such as mounting plate detail and busbars.

The software will also specify a list of individual component parts required, from which quick order placement can be achieved.

Any modifications or additions required at a later date can be accommodated and exported as a dwg file.

Completed drawings and parts lists can be exported into an Excel spreadsheet.

Pricing is also incorporated allowing quotes to be generated within seconds.
