RJG reckons its Lynx piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors are the most accurate and easiest to use piezoelectric cavity pressure sensors available today.

The sensors are mould-mounted devices that offer all of the power and convenience of Lynx digital technology with a piezoelectric sensor.

Unique linearisation algorithms embedded in each unit, coupled with low noise signals, significantly enhance the accuracy of these sensors.

Calibration of these "smart" sensors is built in; the sensor model and sensitivity information is known automatically.

This makes for extremely convenient plug-and-play installation.

In addition, when the mould is moved from machine to machine, the sensor identifies the mould, simplifying the start-up of new jobs.

The sensor includes a detachable cable, which is handy in case of damage and has no need for external extension cables, improving ruggedness and reducing cost.

Also because the case is permanently attached to the mould, the connectors cannot easily become contaminated, which can be a problem for other piezoelectric sensors.
