Reliability Direct is announcing the launch of its new online store containing hundreds of products that are rated intrinsically safe and certified for use in hazardous areas.

The site provides secure e-commerce for hundreds of products that are rated intrinsically safe and certified for use in hazardous areas.
Product categories range from maintenance and measurement instruments for vibration, temperature, ultrasound, speed, alignment, etc, to everyday tools and accessories such as cellular phones, digital cameras, pocket PCs, and more.
The website also provides information regarding hazardous area classifications, links to certification agencies and valuable reliability sites.
Compliance with the ATEX Directive is a legal requirement in all European Union Member States from the 1st July 2003.
Similar requirements are coming to the USA, with most petrochemical and refining facilities already requiring intrinsically safe equipment within their designated hazardous areas.
The new web site is a one-stop source for products certified for use in hazardous locations.
