Available in capacities to service loads of up to 1kVA, Advance-Galatrek's Elite UPS are ideal for telecoms, call centre, computer suite or control room applications.
Elite is the answer wherever the contract demands an easy fit, compact size, high performance and flexible power protection device.
The units have low heat and noise output.
They are ideal for use in 19 inch rack mount cabinets and are less than 400mm deep and 2U high.
Matching 'plug and play' battery extension trays can expand back up to several hours.
Elite's use on-line double-conversion technology to deliver clean power and a smooth regular no-break sine wave irrespective of mains fluctuation or outage.
Power sags, surges, brownouts, blackouts and electrical noise are all filtered out.
An easy to read, icon based front panel gives load and percentage battery charge information.
Monitoring is possible by computer or telecoms networks using the built-in D 9-way port and the correct PowerShield monitoring and control software.
The software is free to customers who download direct from the AEL Group web site.
Accessories for safety and flexibility include PowerSwitch maintenance bypasses and dual redundant switches.
The bypass allows the UPS to be powered down for upgrade or maintenance without disruption to the connected loads.
The dual redundant PowerSwitch allows two UPS to be used in parallel to support the load.
Should one UPS fail the other automatically powers the load.
For greater reliability PowerSwitches can be installed with a transient voltage surge protection (TVSS) device.
This protects both the UPS and the load from local lightning strike and other high energy surges that can cause damage.
The TVSS gives continuos protection to the application, even when the UPS is switched off or isolated for maintenance.
When installed with a TVSS fitted PowerSwitch, the normal two year Elite UPS warranty is extended to five years.
This is an industry first.
In addition to the 19 inch rack mount UPS, compact floor standing and wall mounted versions are also available.
