The new light and compact wall mounted Elite uninterruptible power system from Advance-Galatrek frees space, this allied to low running costs, noise and heat output make it ideal for computing and mainstream office applications.
The Elite assures exceptional levels of power protection due to its high integrity double-conversion on-line technology.
The Elite meets the needs of applications that require security from instabilities in mains supply and protection from outage.
Power sags, surges, brownouts, blackouts and electrical noise corrupt data and communications and cause major disruption in downtime and reinstatement.
Elite delivers consistent close-tolerance voltage and a clean sine wave on mains or battery output.
The 700VA and 1kVA models are available with a range of floor standing battery packs to protect against outages from a few minutes to several hours.
Advanced power management prolongs battery life.
Additional chargers or battery packs give rapid recovery.
There is even a long-life 10 year battery option.
Accessories include PowerSwitch maintenance bypasses and dual redundant switches.
The bypass allows the application to continue when the UPS is powered down for upgrade or maintenance.
The dual redundant PowerSwitch allows two UPS to be used in parallel, should one UPS fail the other automatically powers the load.
For even greater reliability PowerSwitches can be installed with transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) protection.
This protects both the UPS and the protected load from local lightning strike and other high energy surges that can cause damage.
The TVSS gives continuous protection to the application, even when the UPS is switched off or isolated for maintenance.
When installed with a TVSS enabled PowerSwitch, the Elite UPS warranty is extended to five years - an industry first.
An easy to read, icon based front panel gives load and percentage battery charge information.
Monitoring is possible by computer or telecoms networks using the built-in D 9-way port and the correct PowerShield monitoring and control software.
The software is free to customers who download direct from the AEL Group web site is easy to install and fully compatible with Unix, OS/2, Novell and Windows 3.x through W95, W98 to NT.
