The new wall mounted LineUPS provides unobtrusive power protection in computer rooms, telecom switch rooms and for keyphone systems, small PBX switches and micro base station applications

When installing new IT equipment we would all love to start from a clean sheet.

In most offices floor and desk real estate comes at a premium.

Recognising that space is a costly commodity has led Advance-Galatrek to introduce a compact wall mounted UPS to their range.

The new wall mounted LineUPS provides unobtrusive power protection at a competitive price in computer rooms, telecom switch rooms and for keyphone systems, small PBX switches and micro base station applications.

The fully featured line interactive sine wave UPS is housed in a robust metal case designed to make installation quick and easy.

Despite being small, the unit offers superior protection from spikes, surges, sags, electrical noise and brownouts.

In the event of mains failure the critical application being protected automatically transfers to battery to allow for safe and orderly shutdown.

A range of compatible wall mounted options are available to enhance the protection offered by the new LineUPS.

These include a PowerSwitch maintenance bypass to allow 'live' servicing of the UPS without disrupting the load.

Combining PowerSwitch with a second LineUPS gives full N+1 redundancy so one UPS takes over should the other fail.

Strikesafe, lightning and transient voltage surge protection (TVSS) devices are also available in wall mounted casings.

Lightning protection is essential for remote locations that are more likely to suffer.

However, large voltage transients do enter the power distribution system so TVSS protection is worth considering for all applications.

PowerShield monitoring and shutdown software allows LineUPS to be monitored and controlled over a local or wide area network.

For the ultimate peace of mind, users can opt for 24/7 remote monitoring, response and management through Advance-Galatrek's service centre.

As the UK's leading independent provider of power solutions, Advance-Galatrek can supply a complete building protection package from UPS and lightning protection devices through to generator back-up.

The company can take full sole contractor responsibility and as such is happy to provide a free initial consultation.
