Five-year maintenance contract on UPS units

Following on from its recent service innovations, Advance-Galatrek is now offering a five-year maintenance contract on its full range of Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and DC Power Systems

Following on from its recent service innovations, including a low-cost battery testing service and all makes maintenance package, Advance-Galatrek has developed yet another major service offering for the extended runtime UPS and DC Standby Power Supply marketplace.

And the new package looks set to replicate the successes already achieved by the Company's other recent services.

Advance-Galatrek is now offering a five-year maintenance contract on its full range of Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and DC Power Systems.

This new development has been designed specifically to provide added reassurance in mission critical sectors such as the telecoms, IT, industrial and commercial markets.

Above all, these sectors require round the clock 24/7 service commitments from suppliers, in order to keep essential equipment downtime to a minimum.

Advance-Galatrek is already rolling out its five-year maintenance commitment to both existing and new customers, on the basis that this provides added value to its hardware offerings.

All new equipment quotes compiled by the Company now include an accompanying service contract quotation, and additionally feature a reduced cost quote for the ongoing maintenance of existing customer equipment.

This latter initiative provides additional reassurance for Advance-Galatrek customers, by enabling them to reduce the numbers of separate maintenance organisations with which they need to maintain contact.

Furthermore, Advance-Galatrek has signalled that it is already starting to offer its maintenance agreements within the marketplace as a third party branded solution.

This will allow organisations with existing maintenance commitments to offer high levels of service, administered directly by Advance-Galatrek personnel.

Subcontracting third party contracts to Advance-Galatrek will allow many larger organisations to offer across the board expertise in product maintenance ranging from UPS, through TVSS to DC Power Supplies.

Colin Griffiths, Service and Contracts Manager at Advance-Galatrek believes that the third party branded solution will help many larger suppliers to offer a bespoke service to their existing customers.

'Our latest initiative clearly shows that Advance-Galatrek remains at the forefront of product and service development in the Power Protection marketplace.

By opening up our five-year maintenance package to third party suppliers, we believe that this will help improve service standards throughout the industry.

The traditional Advance-Galatrek strengths of quicker response and individual service have been refined and presented to guarantee all customers the best maintenance package available anywhere,' he said.
